Kristen Boisrond

Kristen Boisrond is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Texas and Louisiana. Kristen has over 20 years supporting individuals and families through life transitions. Her goal is to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where clients feel free to express themselves without judgment. Kristen's expertise includes, helping individuals cope with loss including death/divorce, or loss of "good health" for individuals facing a new chronic diagnosis and/or illness. Other areas of experience are postpartum depression, anxiety, depression, child welfare, foster/adoption, family reunification, employee assistance, grief, family conflict, single parents, teens, and aging parents. Kristen uses a variety of treatment modalities that include: psychotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused, gestalt, motivational interviewing, and strength based.
